With its 234,000 hectares, the Médoc protects and preserves the environment, the economy, biodiversity and tourism in Gironde.
In addition, the park promotes the restoration of endangered or vulnerable species. Visit the Médoc châteaux and their estates
Just 40 minutes from the La Côte d’Argent campsite, start your wine tour with Margaux and its famous growth, Château Margaux. Just 10 km further on, discover the village of Lamarque, home to several appellations and Molière’s famous Pont Imaginaire.
Next, join the “lock of the estuary”, made up of three defensive monuments built by Vauban and listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Fort Médoc, set amidst the Saint-Julien vineyards.
Along the way, you’ll pass through Pauillac, with its hundreds of wineries. You’ll marvel at two gems of Romanesque architecture: Château Cordeillan-Bages and the Abbatiale de Vertheuil. Nearby is Château Maucaillou, where you can visit the Musée des Arts et Métiers de la Vigne et du Vin. And last but not least, Saint-Estèphe, the town of majestic châteaux and the Médoc’s only Baroque church!

Set in a pine forest, the 20-hectare La Côte d’Argent campsite welcomes you from May to September. On a hilly, semi-shaded site, you have access to a wide choice of top-of-the-rangeaccommodation at our campsite in the Médoc.
Situated around thirty kilometers from the Parc Naturel Régional du Médoc, our campsite offers you numerous pitches for your tent, motorhome or caravan, with the possibility of a reserved area for one car. And if you prefer to stay in a mobile home, we offer a wide range of cosy, fully-equipped cottages.
There’s also a takeaway restaurant, a bar, a supermarket and a Médoc wine cellar!

Our accommodation is located in Hourtin Plage, 300 metres from the Atlantic beaches and 4 kilometers from the largest natural lake in France: water sports and nature walks are yours for the taking!
La Côte d’Argent campsite also boasts 5,000 m² of aquatic facilities, including a children’s island, 9 slides, 4 pools, an indoor pool and an “Aqua Pirates” area. There’s something for every taste and every generation of holidaymaker!
We also offer a wide range of sporting activities (tennis, beach volleyball and petanque courts, ping-pong tables, fitness room, archery, cycling…), or more relaxing ones (games room for children and parents, lounging by the pool or on the beach…).
