To continue on a surprisingly exotic note, head for the famous Dune du Pilat. The highest sand dune in Europe measures no less than 110 metres! Arcachon’s other attractive beauty is its winter town, characterized by its superb villas.
The wine capital of the world is in the Gironde. If you come here for your next vacation, you can be introduced to wine tasting and visit the famous Cité du Vin.
