In winter, however, you’ll have to rely on the strength of your calves as the stairs are removed. Sports enthusiasts can opt for this second option during their stay.

How do I get to the Dune du Pilat from the Côte d’Argent campsite?

To get to the Dune du Pilat from the La Côte d’Argent campsite, you’ll have to cover the 110 km between them. To do so, head for the Arcachon basin. Take the D3 and then the D5 to reach Mios. From here, you can take the A63, then the A660, before joining the N250 in the direction of the Dune du Pilat. A parking lot 400 m from the dune is available to visitors, who can park for 2 to 12 hours for between €1 and €14, depending on the length of the stay.
